Job Description:

Cancer Treatment Centers of America - Atlanta is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Head and Neck Surgeon to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be a fellowship trained Head and Neck Oncologic Surgeon.  Case load would include all types of head and neck cancers including thyroid/parathyroid, oral cavity, oropharyngeal, laryngeal and skin cancers as well as head and neck reconstructive procedures.  We have state-of-the-art equipment including the da Vinci robotic surgical system.  You would work collaboratively with the other surgical team including plastics and microvascular.   Additionally, you will have the dedicated support of mind-body medicine and nutritional support team. 

Practice Details:

  • 7:30AM-5PM five days per week with five weeks PTO plus six national holidays, 401k, malpractice and health insurance
  • Work with existing ENT and microvascular plastic surgeon to build a Head and Neck Surgery program
  • Office visits for new and existing patients as needed and post operative rounding as needed.
  • OR Block time for open and rigid biopsies, thyroid/parathyroidectomies, major extirpative procedures with composite reconstruction
  • Occasional inpatient consults for any of your patients admitted for any reason to the hospital
    • Cared for by hospitalists/intensivists while inpatient
    • No ER, only urgent care center for our own patients while staying local to hospital
  • Every other week call for only your service.
    • Available for questions for patients not able to be answered by the evening nurse call center
  • High degree of collegiality, weekly multidisciplinary tumor conference to discuss challenging cases.
    • World class radiation oncologists
  • Care under one roof, radiologists and medical oncologists are right down the hall

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Foreign Equivalent
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Otolaryngology
  • Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery Fellowship Required
  • Georgia Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start date
