Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia is seeking a Medical Oncologist with experience in genitourinary cancer. CTCA is a single-specialty, tertiary hospital system providing a comprehensive, fully integrative approach to cancer care.
Practice Highlights: CTCA’s Centers for Advanced Oncology model brings together oncologists and specialists who have experience and training in a specific cancer type as part of a single, multidisciplinary team. The medical oncologist will practice alongside a team of physicians with emphasis on genitourinary cancer (20%). The team also treats a variety of other cancer types, such as brain, melanoma, head and neck, and orthopedic, and the ideal candidate will be able to work as a generalist medical oncologist. Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of new programs and clinical services, participating in clinical research and design, and providing training to technical staff as needed. The Department of Medical Oncology receives support from ONS-certified nurses. The ideal candidate will have 2-10 years of experience as a practicing physician, research experience, and success and experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have an MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent; board certification/eligibility in medical oncology; eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure; and fellowship training in medical oncology.
