Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA®) at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, IL is seeking an BC/BE Interventional Pain Medicine physician. CTCA is a single-specialty, tertiary hospital system providing a comprehensive, fully integrative approach to cancer care.
The Interventional Pain Medicine physician will provide patient-focused care to our patients with chronic pain in our state-of-the-art cancer center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists and specialists to enhance symptom management of oncology inpatients and outpatients (50:50). Responsibilities include providing inpatient consultation services to oncology patients, clinical support for the Survivorship program, and facilitation of patient and family care goals on a 45-hour work week. After-hour and weekend phone support for hospital services will be divided among the Pain Medicine team. The ideal candidate will have experience and success collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent
- BC/BE in Pain Medicine
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine
- Eligibility for Illinois medical licensure
